Appreciated the place, lovely welcoming for a short break. The best part of our excellent stay was the quick breakfast with the 24hour bakery. The location was marvellous, within easy walking distance of a huge fortress

Very kind owners, they even gave us cake since the lady hostess had a birthday. Good location, clean and welcoming.
If I have to say something it would be that the hosts didn't speak english flawlessly, but hey, what do you expect?

The Vrlic family warmly welcomes all of their guests and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. For example, we requested a free parking spot, and this actually involved Mr. Vrlic parking his own car in a nearby free spot on the street and then letting us take it ewhen we arrived, meaning he had to go out and find another spot nearby. The next day we went on a 1/2 day trip to Trogir by car and he was ready to do the same thing, though in the end we found an open spot nearby. Note that Mr. Vrlic speaks limited English (he speaks better German), but his daughter ?? speaks good English. The location cannot be beat.

The room was good-sized and airy as described. The location was magnificent for walking around a huge fortress. The area was great, really close to a supermarket and bakery.

Great location - 5 minute walk to the old town, market, and waterfront areas. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Made us feel welcomed and treated our little boy like he was one of their children. Very lovely family! Nice little garden play area outside, and easily found free parking on the street in front of the hotel. Others mentioned that the hotel is hard to find, but with our Garmin (GPS) we didn't have any trouble locating it.
No breakfast service, which we knew before we booked, but made it challenging to find a place to eat in the morning. Also, the bathrooms could use some updating. Ran out of hot water before the first person even finished their shower. Overall though, a great place to stay if you're going to Split!

We stayed at a guesthouse in a great location, just a short walk away from the famous Diocletian's Palace. The owners were very helpful and even provided us with a parking spot. The apartment had all the necessary amenities, including a fridge and a cooktop. we had a pleasant experience and would recommend this place.

Very nice welcoming and friendly staff. Small, noisy room and beds not comfortable, mine seems to be near to collapse, frame moving when turning around in bed, almost got me sea-sick:). We were both a bit disappointed after reading other reviews.

Very nice staff. This hotel was very hard to find, my husband found it by finally walking to the location serveral blocks then the owners husband walked w/him to our car to show us the way and he even gave us his parking spot. Older hotel but not bad for the price.
not a complaint so much as the area of location. Split is way to busy and driving is a hassel. the cars park on the both sides of the road even on the sidewalks! very disapointed seeing the Palace. The water front was great, alot of cafe's and peaceful location away from all the noise of the city. nice area for a calming walk.
